MLD-301 Introduction to Moldflow

This class introduces the capabilities of Autodesk Moldflow Adviser to help optimize plastic part design for mold filling. By providing a theoretical background on injection molding and plastic part design, the attendee will gain an understanding of how to streamline their process by utilizing the user interface, importing a model, mesh preparation, and simulation adviser tools. Simulations such as gate location, fill analysis, molding window, cooling quality, and sink marks will all be addressed throughout the training. The material database for searching and comparing will also be introduced.
