P3D-110 Plant 3D Modeling Workflow

In this course we will go over the basics of creating steel structures, equipment, and routing pipe using Plant 3D.  Then generating isometric and orthographic drawings from the models. You will explore the different options for creating Pipe:  Dynamic Pipe Spec tool palette, the Spec Viewer, the Route Pipe tool, the Line to Pipe tool, and the P&ID Line List. We'll experiment with the auto rout tool and find strategies to effectively take advantage of the tool. We will learn to apply tagging and experiment with how the tagged information is treated when using the copy tool. We will add iso annotations and pipe supports to the model.
