P3D-001 Introduction to Plant 3D

This course will look over the interface of Plant 3D. Primarily focusing on the PID PIP and 3D Piping workspaces but also the a quick look at the 3D Basics and Drafting & Annotation workspaces too. We'll discus commonly used settings such as Dynamic Input and Snaps, because some of these options impact design in a slightly different way than other programs. We will use the Project Manager to create folders and drawings and then get familiar with 2D and 3D navigation. We will also do a quick review over using the UCS and a few basic AutoCAD 3D modeling tools for users looking to take advantage of the 3D modeling capabilities of Plant 3D.
